Practical Masterclass day 2:

On the second day, you'll have the opportunity to deliver the complete Mian Dui ™ Reflexology Facial Ritual to one of our Friends of Phoenix clients.

This valuable practical session allows you to experience working with a real client in a supportive learning environment, helping you bring together everything you've learnt over the two days.

Your tutor will be available throughout to provide guidance, encouragement and professional feedback, giving you the confidence to refine your techniques before offering the treatment in your own clinic.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have experienced the treatment, practised every technique and delivered the full ritual to a model, so you can return to your practice feeling confident and ready to introduce Mian Dui to your clients immediately.

I love to teach! To impart my skills and knowledge into creating well-rounded, professional therapists gives me a buzz. I believe that when we learn as adults we bring a wealth of life-skills to the learning journey and I use this experience and build on it. My style of teaching is to make students think…. and find their own answer. I facilitate - guiding students to come to their own conclusions to empower their learning. My lessons are fun and very interactive. Students are encouraged to contribute their own thoughts and ideas as, in that way, we can learn from each other. When learning a new skill, there are guidelines but I encourage and positively applaud students having a personal take on a skill, finding their own way of doing something that will make them stand out. I believe at the end of their journey with me students will be able to go out into the world as well-rounded, skilled, professional therapists and establish a well-being business.

Resources for the treatment

One of the many benefits of the Mian Dui ™ Reflexology Facial Ritual is that there is no requirement to invest in expensive skincare products or specialist equipment.

This treatment has been carefully designed so that the real magic comes from your knowledge, your skills and your hands.

We believe therapists should be able to introduce a new treatment without feeling pressured to purchase an entire product range before they can begin treating clients.

Should you wish to enhance your treatments in the future with a professional skincare range or introduce retail products for your clients, we'll be happy to share recommendations and guide you through the options. However, this is entirely optional.

We provide a variety of cleansing & toning products for you to try, and have Gua Sha and mushrooms to loan.

Please bring with you

To support your practical training, we will provide:

Cleansing balm for treatment preparation.

Massage oil for the facial ritual. We ask each delegate to bring:

Two large flat sheets or bath towels.

Four to six facial cleansing cloths or flannels.

One facial gua sha tool (jade or rose quartz are both suitable).

Skincare products you use if you would like to have them used on you during practice.

A headband to secure hair from the face if oyu have one.

Your usual therapist uniform or comfortable professional clothing.

By the end of the workshop, you'll know exactly what you need to begin offering Mian Dui ™ professionally, without unnecessary expense or complicated product requirements. Guidance on suitable products you may wish to use once you begin offering treatments.
